At age 5 when my son started wrestling, I helped him practice his moves. After a couple of years and a bloody lip, I gave up my role as wrestling partner. He will graduate high school next year and go away to college. I asked him to wrestle me one last time. “I’m not going to take it easy on you Mom.” The rules–no clubbing my head and no throws. Other than that, I don’t expect you to take it easy on me.
