I (she/her) am an engineer turned new media designer studying my master’s at NID Gandhinagar. Growing up in the loving embrace of my parents in Bengaluru (South India in Karnataka), this is my first time being away from them, and they are my go-to source of comfort whenever I face challenges. Their words of assurance, “this too shall pass – idhuvum kadandhu pogum,” always provide solace. Apart from that I am a people person, and if I were to pursue an alternative career, I’d consider becoming an HR manager. I take immense pride in my hometown and cherish my mother tongue (Tamil), and I’m committed to staying connected to my roots, which keeps me grounded.
I like illustrating florals and I find great joy in being in the presence of nature (except for the bugs and insects!). I aspire to use my design skills to contribute to making the world a better place for everyone.
