Sharvani Mokashi

I’m Sharvani Mokashi, a multi disciplinary designer with a passion for solving problems and creating meaningful experiences. I enjoy blending creativity and technology to craft designs that are both functional and visually appealing. My journey in design is driven by a commitment to addressing real-world issues and creating positive user experiences. Currently pursuing my master’s in New Media Design at the National Institute of Design in India, I previously graduated in Communication Design from MRID, MSU Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda. Hailing from Pune, a culturally rich city in Maharashtra, I take pleasure in indulging in classic literature both in English and my mother tongue, Marathi. My recording is a Marathi poem ‘Kana (Spine)’ by Kusumagraj which I happened to read in school as part of my coursework, and has stayed with me since then. I have recited the poem in Marathi, along with a brief excerpt from its English translation. It beautifully portrays the strength of a common man and encourages him to face life’s challenges. This poem, etched in my memory, reminds me of the resilience and courage we all possess.
