Shruti Ghosh is a Kathak dancer, choreographer, teacher and independent researcher based in Kolkata, India. She is the recipient of Arts Research Program Grant from India Foundation for the Arts, Bangalore (IFA) and is currently pursuing a short term research in Kolkata. She has collaborated with theatre dance film and music artists and performed in London, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, different parts of Kazakhstan and India. She was a former dance teacher and performer at the Embassy of India, Kazakhstan. She regularly conducts workshops and classes for dance and theatre artists. She works with children from underprivileged communities in Bengal and Haryana. She also publishes in anthologies and journals (both Bangla and English) on film dance, film music and theatre. Along With her research Shruti is also performing three of her solo choreographic pieces in different parts of India.
